We are working with a market leader within a global organisation, who is looking for a seasoned professional with a passion for supply chain logistics and financial management to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. If you have a strong background in supply chain logistics, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or food, and possess advanced skills in SAP, BW, Excel, and PowerPoint, we want to hear from you!

Reporting to the UK Finance Director, this role collaborates with the Supply Chain UK Finance Business Partner and leadership teams. Responsibilities include managing a substantial logistics budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring tight controls on inventory movements. The role also involves financial reporting for UK subcontractors and supporting the UK Supply Chain Director in preparing and consolidating financial data for leadership teams. The aim of this is to drive impactful cost-saving initiatives aligned with company objectives.What You Will Bring to this Role:

  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively, achieving results with minimal supervision.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach to tasks and challenges.
  • Strong ability to ensure accountability and drive task completion.
  • Flexible, innovative, and adept at setting clear priorities.
  • Skilled in analysing, interpreting, and summarising large datasets to extract key business insights.
  • Excellent at building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Requirements:

  • 3 years of relevant experience within the Supply Chain logistics environment.
  • Supply chain financial experience.
  • Must have SAP & BW experience.
  • Category background based on fast-moving consumer goods/food.
  • Intermediate/advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Professional accounting qualification.
