Part Qualified Assistant Finance Business Partner required for a privately owned business with ambitious growth plans. This newly created role is due to growth/business demands and offers progression and development.

The role's purpose is to support the finance team in providing financial insights and guidance to support strategic business decision-making. The role involves partnering with the different branches to drive financial performance, manage budgets and ensure both financial and operational targets are met:

  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and financial plans.
  • Provide financial analysis and insight to support business decisions.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Preparing financial reports for senior management and the board.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The person:

  • The successful candidate will be studying for a professional financial qualification.
  • Previous experience in a finance position is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • The ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships is essential.
