Finance Business Partner | Doncaster (high degree of remote working) | £40,000 + suite of benefits including CIMA / ACCA study package if required)
The Opportunity
If you are an Assistant Management Accountant / Finance Analyst / Commercial Analyst / Business Analyst looking to fast track your career into a fully fledged Finance Business Partnering role it would be great to speak.
You’ll join a highly profitable PE backed business amid a rapid supercharged scale up.

You’ll spend your time getting out and about - working with operational managers / none finance stakeholders across various sites in the UK (rather than being chained to excel)!
Your focus is added value activity - drilling into the P&L… understanding the business drivers and levers….. providing insights that will ultimately influence margin, growth and profit. You’ll be listening to colleagues out in the commercial areas of the group to connect what the numbers are telling the business and what the business is telling you.
There’s loads going on - M&A, system improvement, development of reporting, modern FP&A….
You’ll be working for modern leaders - a highly approachable Head of FP&A and a talented CFO.
Amazing experience for someone who may well be at a relatively early stage of their career.
Up to circa £40k level + benefits plus study support if required.
South Yorkshire region.
Required:
- A degree in a related subject (accounting / economics / business) or AAT. Perhaps studying toward CIMA or ACCA.
- Commercial acumen and an interest in what drives margin and impacts profitability & growth in a fast paced ambitious business.
- Excellent communication skills
- Superb analytical skills (good understanding of Excel is a given)… knowledge of Power BI would be really helpful.
- Ability to look into the data and make sensible and insightful assumptions / insights.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to discuss financial info and data with colleagues at all levels.
- Confidence to jump in the car, drive to a site and build a relationship with non finance colleagues.
- A foundation of core accounting understanding and knowledge (debits and credits!) ideally.
If you are a confident and professional accountancy and finance graduate or have completed AAT and want to move in the direction of FP&A / Business Partnering it would be an incredible role to fast track your learning and development.
