FINANCE MANAGER - South Yorkshire 1 day per week in the office (6 MONTH FTC)Ever wondered what it would be like to use your finance skills to help make the world a better place?This national charity are looking for a qualified accountant who can help them to continue their mission of improving the world and lives of those it supports..We need someone who can:

Lead their year-end process and statutory audit
Support budget holders who are brilliant at supporting people but might break out in hives at the mention of reconciliations
Keep our financial controls robust and solid
Help implement their new finance system (because even charities need good tech)

You'll need to be:

CCAB qualified (or equivalent) i.e. ACA or CIMA or ACCA or CIPFA
Up to date with UK GAAP
Good at juggling priorities without dropping any balls
Comfortable working with non-finance people
Someone who can explain complex financial concepts without making people's eyes glaze over

The role is based in South Yorkshire 1 day per week with flexible home working, because they believe in work-life balance that also reduces the carbon footprint of commuting.This is a 6-month contract, perfect for someone who:
