FINANCE MANAGER - South Yorkshire 1 day per week in the office (6 MONTH FTC)Ever wondered what it would be like to use your finance skills to help make the world a better place?This national charity are looking for a qualified accountant who can help them to continue their mission of improving the world and lives of those it supports..We need someone who can:
  • Lead their year-end process and statutory audit
  • Support budget holders who are brilliant at supporting people but might break out in hives at the mention of reconciliations
  • Keep our financial controls robust and solid
  • Help implement their new finance system (because even charities need good tech)
You'll need to be:
  • CCAB qualified (or equivalent) i.e. ACA or CIMA or ACCA or CIPFA 
  • Up to date with UK GAAP
  • Good at juggling priorities without dropping any balls
  • Comfortable working with non-finance people
  • Someone who can explain complex financial concepts without making people's eyes glaze over
The role is based in South Yorkshire 1 day per week with flexible home working, because they believe in work-life balance that also reduces the carbon footprint of commuting.This is a 6-month contract, perfect for someone who:
