Junior Finance Business Partner

Seeking a finance professional skilled in delivering management accounts, conducting balance sheet reconciliations, and producing timely financial information. Adept at communicating financial concepts to non-finance colleagues, with a strong customer focus and a commitment to service improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Partnering with non-financial stakeholders, based across multi-sites

  • Support month-end processes through budget holder meetings, journal processing, and preparation of reconciliations and reports

  • Conduct internal financial audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and value for money practices

  • Provide support to purchase and income ledger functions as needed

  • Assist with treasury matters

  • Assistant Directors and Executive

  • Operational Teams

  • Colleagues and service users

External:

  • Third-party suppliers

  • Partners / Agencies

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

  • Experience in a busy finance environment in a similar role

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Effective communication at all levels, with the ability to simplify financial concepts for non-finance colleagues

  • Flexible, self-motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team

  • Experience with management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis

  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel

  • Willingness to take on tasks outside of direct job role and challenge existing processes

Education & Qualifications:

  • ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or equivalent

  • Currently studying towards a CCAB qualification or equivalent, or qualified by experience

  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
