My client are a tier 1 main contractor and are looking to onboard a General foreman for a large infrastructure and structures package being delivered in Yorkshire. My client operate nationwide and deliver schemes are the infrastructure, rail and highways sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and experience with reinforced concrete structures, FRC works and civils.
General foreman responsibilities:
- Working alongside and reporting to the project management team.
- Managing and allocating plant, labour and materials.
- Task briefings.
- Allocation sheets.
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance to RAMS and job specification.
- Record keeping.
- Supervision of subcontractors on site.
- Ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Liaising with the client and local authorities.
General foreman requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- NVQ level or above.
- CSCS - Gold, white or black.
- SSSTS/ SMSTS.
- First aid.
- TWC/ TWS.
- Safety critical medical.
- Previous experience with highways, structures or civils.
- Full UK driving licence.
