Hours Monday Thursday 8 am 4.30 pm, Friday 8 am 3.30 pm
Salary £25,359-£26,364 negotiable paid weekly
25 days holiday + bank holidays, private cash/health plan
Glazing and Ironmongery Operative, Glazier required to join glazing team for very established manufacturing firm, commercial joinery the role is to maximise the throughput through the spray shop whilst maintaining the highest levels of quality, health and safety. To work as part of the production management team to continuously improve all operations, competence, processes, and procedures to minimise delays and increase efficiency.
Previous experience with timber productions would be beneficial but not essential, training would be provided
Glazier to join Glazing Team for high end manufacturer
Order Review working closely with Team Leader
Glazing doors
Fitting ironmongery
Squaring hinges
Sanding timber doors
Using a range of hand and power tools
Training new employees when required
General housekeeping
Increase efficiency of department
Corrective/preventive action work with all departments to report and prevent wasted/down time
Ensure Health and Safety practices are observed
Any other reasonable duties that might be needed from time to time to assist the company in attaining its business objectives.
