The Position

Applications are invited for an experienced Recruitment Officer to join our Human Resources Team based at our SARIA Ltd, Doncaster Site. This is a part time, permanent position working 16 hours per week. This position is a job share and an existing employed Recruitment Officer would be working the rest of the week (24 hours each week). As a HR Recruitment Officer, your duties and responsibilities will vary based on the Company’s requirements and will include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaising with all recruitment stakeholders, including hiring managers, candidates, HR and external partners.
  • Maintaining an accurate HR filing system in respect of recruitment documentation.
  • Managing, updating and maintaining external and internal advertising mediums.
  • Utilising our ATS system to maximum effectiveness.
  • Writing and posting job adverts.
  • Liaising with HR regarding writing of Job Descriptions and Person Specifications.
  • Arranging interviews and communicating these with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Supporting hiring managers with the CV sifting process and collating feedback on applications.
  • Attending interviews with hiring managers, as required.
  • Utilising various job boards to proactively source candidates for current vacancies.
  • Headhunting and creating a talent pool of speculative candidates.
  • Exploring new methods of attracting passive and active candidates in accordance with the requirements of the role.
  • Supporting with Apprentice recruitment activities and liaising with training providers.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with external suppliers and managing their compliance with company requirements.
  • Maintaining an agency Preferred Supplier List, ensuring that all terms and conditions are adhered to.
  • Working in collaboration with another Recruitment Officer (job share) to achieve objectives outlined within the recruitment strategy.
  • Coordinating the onboarding process for new starters in liaison with HR.

The Person

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a role dedicated to recruitment/resourcing.
  • Full understanding of the end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Ability to manage an online/electronic recruitment system.
  • Ability to source direct candidates and give an excellent level of ‘service’ to prospective candidates.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with agencies and suppliers.
  • Understand how to negotiate Terms and Conditions with external recruitment partners and develop a preferred supplier list.
  • Understand and mitigate the compliance and risk associated with non-employed workers.
  • Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and identify key requirements.
  • Keen to progress and develop within the role.
  • Be commercially aware of the market.
  • Able to influence and work with people at all levels.
