Stock Control Administrator Doncaster£24.7k My client is extremely well-established and is the UK’s largest pharmaceutical distribution business, and we are proud to support in their search for a Stock Control Administrator to support the team within their complex fulfilment/distribution operation out of their Doncaster depot. You will be playing a key role in managing the integrity of all stock control and availability of 000’s of products for the delivery of very time sensitive pharma products into our NHS Hospitals. You will be tasked with supporting the team to ensure efficiency across all stock control activities through goods in, storage and picking, ultimately controlling the accurate movement of goods from the moment they arrive. Monday-Friday 8 - 16:30  Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate entry of stock data in the warehouse in WMS. (Warehouse Management System)
  • Performing Stock Counts / Re-Counts / Audit Counts on both physical inventory and systems numbers, on a daily basis.
  • Booking in new stock upon receipt into the warehouse.
  • Support with investigating and reporting accurately all short shipments/discrepancies in the warehouse.
  • Ensuring any stock issues and anomalies are flagged and addressed accordingly.
  • Identify and escalate any potential discrepancies.
  • Liaise with buying, warehouse and any other teams to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Ensure order and stock discrepancies are dealt with in a timely manner and escalated where appropriate.
  • Raising credits / claims against any missed deliveries / orders / inaccurate quantities etc.
  • Compiling monthly reports to account managers and clients.
  • Performing tasks within internal systems to ensure customers’ orders are shipped as expected.
  • Engage with operations and warehouse colleagues.
 Key Skills:
  • Previous Stock Control / Stock experience would be a benefit.
  • Team player who can also work on their own initiative.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is key.
  • Flexibility within the role to cover all areas of the Stock department functions.
  • A high level of attention to detail with the ability to manage own time to achieve daily targets efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent problem solving and investigation skills.
  • PC literate with a strong working knowledge of MS Office Packages.
