Position: Family Law Solicitor/Legal Executive

Location: Doncaster

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Law Solicitor or Legal Executive to take on a diverse and challenging caseload. The role involves handling a range of family law matters, including divorce proceedings, financial disputes, Children Act proceedings, and domestic abuse cases

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a busy caseload of family law cases, including divorce, financial settlements, and children-related matters
  • Provide support and legal representation to vulnerable clients, including victims of domestic abuse
  • Conduct advocacy and represent clients in court
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other professionals
  • Travel to other offices and court as required

Family Solicitors Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience)
  • Proven experience in family law, particularly in divorce and children’s matters
  • Familiarity with the Legal Aid Agency's Client and Cost Management System (CCMS)
  • Confident in conducting advocacy
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to travel when necessary
