Andy File Associates Limited are working on behalf of their client as a Recruitment Agency with regards this permanent vacancy.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well established general legal practice who have a vacancy in their Doncaster office for a Paralegal / Legal Secretary with Conveyancing experience to join their very busy Conveyancing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following -

  • Supporting a Fee Earner with their caseload from inception to post completion
  • Opening and closing of files
  • Client liaison, 'phone calls, emails, letters, associated documentation etc.
  • Using bespoke case management system (training will be provided)
  • Completion Statements, Disbursements and Billing
  • Completion of Land Registry documentation
  • Ad-hoc duties as required

Essential Experience

  • Knowledge of Conveyancing and associated documentation
  • Previous experience working in a similar role
  • Previous experience working within a legal background or within a solicitors is preferable
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills

**This role would be ideal for anyone with hands on conveyancing experience whose career aim is to become a qualified Solicitor as the firm are a training provider and would be in a position to offer a training contract for the right person who shows great progression within a 12 months period.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.15pm

Benefits include:

22 days holiday plus bank holidays. A further day after 5 years service and again after 10 years service. Standard NEST pension.
