This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team within the legal sector, offering a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations in a busy legal practice.Key Responsibilities:Assist senior legal professionals with dictation and transcription of legal documents (both written and audio). Draft, review, and edit legal documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to legal standards. Conduct statement-taking and verification, ensuring thorough documentation of all necessary information. Organize and analyse medical records for case preparation, as needed. Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including client inquiries, correspondence, and phone calls. Serve as a key liaison with clients, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence. Direct incoming calls to the appropriate department or team member promptly. Maintain an efficient filing system, both digital and physical, ensuring easy access to documents. Coordinate and schedule appointments, resolving any conflicts to ensure smooth scheduling. Provide general administrative support to enhance office productivity. Prepare and compile court bundles for hearings and trials.Required Skills & Experience:Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Wills and Probate. Strong typing and transcription skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
