Danny Sullivan Group are searching for an Operations Manager for a role with one of the UKs largest contractors based in the East Sussex area.
The ideal candidate for this role would be able to carry out this local authority related role looking after reactive maintenance contractor looking after highways, streetworks and street lighting contracts in the East Sussex area. Candidate should have local authority reactive maintenance experience.
Responsibilities:
- Hold responsibility for the full core contract delivery so reactive maintenance (potholes), street lighting, traffic signals, weed spraying, grass cutting etc.
- Ensure compliance is in line with all company procedures.
- Manage and review margins and cash flows.
- Working towards ensuring delivery of service provided is to a great standard.
- Seeking opportunities for profit improvement.
- Continuously working towards betterment and improving the business.
- Creating and maintaining working relationships.
- Understanding and delivering to meet client needs.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Highways experience.
- Local authority experience (essential)
- Operational or Technical experience required.
- Educated to degree level (preferred).
- HNC/equivalent in Civil Engineering.
- Demonstratable experience in previous contract management.
This opportunity is a great chance to lead and implement relevant knowledge to all individuals involved e.g. partners, stakeholders, subcontractors etc. Salary on offer will range from £60k to £85k salary and package including car/car allowance, private healthcare, 10% discretionary bonus depending on financial performance.
