Other major responsibilities include scheduling production, quality, inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, and process improvements.Key Responsibilities:* Oversee the production process from start to finish.* Develop and implement plans to meet production goals and deadlines.* Manage a team of production supervisors and workers.* Schedule and coordinate production activities to ensure maximum efficiency.* Identify and resolve production-related problems promptly.* Ensure the quality of the finished product meets customer expectations.* Monitor inventory levels and order materials as needed.* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.* Maintain accurate records of production data and costs.* Develop innovating ways to undertake Fabrication and Engineering Works using new equipment and flexible methods between engineering disciplines whilst maintain a high level of safety within the business undertakings.* To promote the professional development of employees.* To investigate and report on incidents and implement loss prevention measures.* Monitor and review employee performance at regular intervals.Experience:* Engineering & Fabrication Environment (Medium to Heavy)* Apprenticeship or NVQ 3 (or equivalent in relevant subject)* Driver's License* Health and Safety Qualification (Desired)* Previous Production Manager Experience
