Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist manufacturing company who are looking for a Technical Manager.
The company design and develop engineered products for a wide variety of blue-chip companies in the automotive industry.
This role will be to manage and lead a team, developing and improving processes to enhance delivering of technical design and R&D projects.
The Technical Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of multi-skilled engineers and technicians
- Providing support and career development of a performing team
- Defining workload and developing engineering plans to ensure delivery
- Managing prototype development and products through to full production
- Proving technical advice to the team
- Ensuring design and development projects are delivered
The Technical Manager will need:
- Experience of managing design teams in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of managing projects and improving processes
- A mechanical engineering background
- Excellent people skills and management ability
- A willingness to support the team and achieve business goals
This is a great opportunity to take on the leadership of a great team of around 10 people, provide input to their development and lead on the design and development of products.
