Our client is a successful and well-established company within in the Automotive industry. They are looking for a Mobile Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer with vehicle Electrical knowledge / Auto Electrician experience.
Please only apply if:
- You have experience with Auto Electrical work.
- You have experience of working in a Field based / External Service Engineer role.
- You have experience of working on fabricated vehicles, with experience of Rams and Tail Lifts / Passenger Lifts being an advantage.
- You are happy to travel to customer sites across regularly to carry out work.
- You have a full UK driving license.
Salary up to £28,000 depending on experience + Company Van + Laptop/Tablet + Mobile.
Responsibilities:
- The main part of your job will be to visit customer sites to carry out repairs and servicing to vehicles that the company has sold. You will plan your diary in order to maximise time in visiting the customer sites.Â
- If there is not any warranty or service work to complete, you will work in their workshop in Doncaster, the percentage of this is determined by customer demand in the field.
- Parts for repairs and installations are stored onsite in Doncaster, here you will also return damaged parts and refuse, this may not be needed every day providing you have organised your diary effectively.
This job would suit someone with experience in a similar Automotive based role, for example; Mobile Auto Electrician / Mobile Mechanic / External Vehicle Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Technician / PSV Engineer / Mechanical Fitter / Electrical Fitter.
