Our client, an international business operating within the Agricultural sector is looking to recruit a proactive Transport Planner/Coordinator to join the Operations Team.THE ROLE: Manage the internal logistics process for whole goods, options and spare parts, planning the workload for both the internal fleet and any sub-contractors requiredGenerate the necessary paperwork needed to record machine movementsCommunicate delivery schedules to dealers and internal staffLiaise with factory dispatch departments, hauliers and customs brokers to provide a timely import and export of whole goods, options, parts and warranty returnsManage the distribution of show and demonstration machines in support of the sales teamLiaise with the Admin team and factory dispatch departments to maintain a timely delivery scheduleLiaise with customers and colleagues on the telephone in a professional and courteous manner.Liaise with the relevant counterparts in Germany to fully utilise the support structure provided.Undertake any duties that may reasonably be requested throughout the business.Undertake any national or international travel required in carrying out the normal duties.Comply with all company policies and the staff handbook.THE CANDIDATE:You will have previous transport experience coupled with excellent organisational and planning skills.
