Reed Education offers a service across South Yorkshire offering ah-hoc and long-term support to schools for non-teaching roles. Reed are leading the way across South Yorkshire in this sector and we have formed strong relationships with our key clients to support their whole school recruitment.

Currently we are looking to recruit experienced school administrators looking for either ad-hoc or long-term roles across South Yorkshire. Could this be you?

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Manage the reception area, acting as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Handle telephone and email inquiries, ensuring clear and professional communication.
  • Maintain accurate records, including student attendance and staff documentation, using school-specific software.
  • Support the organisation and administration of school events and activities.
  • Assist in the management of the school diary and scheduling appointments.
  • Process and manage correspondence with parents and external agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a school setting.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and school management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS check is required.
  • Previous experience working with children is highly advantageous.
