Your new companyA global logistics company based in Doncaster requires support within their amazing HR Shared Services team, specialising within payroll.This amazing company is seeking a Payroll Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term contract in their Doncaster office. As part of the brilliant team, you will deliver high-quality, timely, and customer-focused transactional services to key stakeholders and customers. Your role will be key to supporting employee relations, handling payroll and administration.Salary starting at £28KFull-time hybrid working

Your new roleKey responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate handling of tasks, escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Taking ownership of queries and issues, seeing them through to resolution.
  • Following internal and external procedures, escalating or challenging deviations as necessary.
  • Managing flexible benefits deductions and company pension schemes, including automatic enrolment.
  • Recording and monitoring statutory sick, maternity, and paternity pay.
  • Processing voluntary deductions like unions, gym memberships, and health schemes.
  • Administering P11d reporting for company benefits in kind.
  • Producing reports and correspondence for internal customers and third parties.
  • Performing internal checks and audits to ensure compliance with transactional processes.
  • Maintaining payroll KPIs and reviewing processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to GDPR regulations.
  • Supporting various transactional payroll activities and performing other reasonable duties as assigned.

What you'll need to succeedTo succeed within this role, you will need previous experience working within payroll, ideally working towards your CIPP qualification or other relevant financial qualification.Experience with Microsoft Office (excel), Workday and ADP is preferred.
