We are seeking an Asset Compliance Officer to lead and manage compliance across a range of exciting asset-related projects. Our client is a Housing Association who are navigating a period of transformation, always staying committed to delivering quality services for their residents and building a workplace culture that staff truly value.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead procurement, management, and delivery of contracts relating to asset compliance.
- Align and deliver compliance programs in line with Home Standards, Health and Safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Maintain an accurate asset register, attributes, and stock condition data to inform business planning.
- Assist in financial planning, budget setting, and ensuring value for money in compliance and reinvestment activities.
- Oversee the operational delivery of compliance and cyclical programs and assist in day-to-day reinvestment works.
- Ensure compliance and cyclical programs are fully on time and within budget.
- Manage contractor relations and communication to ensure residents are kept informed on inspections, works, and servicing.
- Lead on resident consultation to ensure compliance and cyclical programs meet resident needs and expectations.
- Ensure robust quality control systems are in place to meet industry standards and internal policies.
- Take a leading role in investment and new development projects concerning asset compliance.
- Ensure staff receive necessary training on compliance and health and safety issues.
- Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
We’re looking for a highly motivated individual with experience or qualifications in asset compliance. If you’re willing to continue your professional development, our client will support you in gaining further relevant qualifications.
Required qualifications and experience:
- NEBOSH or equivalent (or willingness to study and gain within the first 24 months).
- P405 Management of Asbestos (or willingness to study and gain within 12 months).
- Legionella Control for Responsible Persons (or willingness to study and gain within 12 months).
- AESM Level 4 VRQ Certificates in Electrical Safety and Gas Safety Management in Social Housing (or willingness to study and gain within 18 months).
- IFSM-accredited Fire Risk Assessment (or willingness to study and gain within 12 months).
- Relevant building/surveying maintenance qualifications.
- Relevant asset compliance experience in housing or property management.
