Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting a Compliance Officer for a Housing Association based in South Yorkshire. This is a permanent position, paying £35,000 per annum, and offers excellent professional development opportunities.

The role:

  • Support the delivery of an effective Asset Compliance Service, including gas, electricity, fire, asbestos, water hygiene, EPC’s and lifting equipment to all properties
  • Responsible for the management and delivery of compliance programmes including external contract management
  • Maintain and update the organisations Asset register, component, and stock condition data to support the Asset Management Business Plan, cyclical and Compliance works
  • Lead the procurement, delivery and management of the organisation’s compliance contracts
  • Support the Asset Team in the delivery of investment works
  • Lead regular contractor performance meetings to monitor performance and develop improvement plans where needed

What you need:

  • Experience managing Compliance within social housing, working as part of a Compliance or Asset Management Team
  • Relevant Compliance qualifications or equivalent experience in any of the big six areas of Compliance
  • Willingness to develop and gain Compliance qualifications
  • Experience in the procurement and management of contracts
