Technical Services Manager – Food Manufacturing

Location: Doncaster

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum + benefits

Working Hours: Flexible Monday to Friday (Flexible On-site, between 6am-6pm)

We are seeking a passionate and ambitious Technical Services Manager to join our dynamic team in the food manufacturing sector, based in Doncaster. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional looking to take the next step in their career.

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee the updating and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) and document control processes.

• Ensure full compliance with all food safety measures across the site, maintaining the highest standards.

• Ensure export traceability meets all regulatory and customer requirements.

• Prepare for and maintain audit readiness for large retailers and BRC audits.

• Manage micro-schedule samples and ensure proper product traceability.

• Conduct data analysis to track and improve quality metrics.

• Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner

• Monitor and report on customer and site KPIs to maintain operational excellence.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Quality Manager or Supervisor in a food manufacturing environment, with a desire to progress to a managerial role.

• Enthusiastic and ambitious in the food manufacturing sector with a strong desire for development.

• HACCP Level 3 certified with a degree in food science, food technology, or a technical background related to food.

• Experience in quality processes, control measures, and systems in a food production environment.

• Proven track record in audit preparation and conducting internal/external audits.

• Desirable experience in ready meals, sauces or bakery products.

• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work closely with the Head of Technical and Hygiene Manager.
