Description
- Developing and implementing a maintenance strategy that matches the mission, vision, and values of the company.
- Identifying and managing asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations.
- Providing technical and engineering support for day-to-day preventive and predictive maintenance functions.
- Optimising the life cycle costs of equipment and systems, and ensuring their availability.
- Developing and implementing key performance indicators to track progress and effectiveness of maintenance activities.
- Participating in cross-functional teams to address and resolve manufacturing and production issues.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable industry standards and regulations.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the Engineering & Manufacturing department.
Profile
A successful 'Reliability Engineer' should have:
- A relevant engineering qualification
- Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
