Our client is the UK’s leading specialist in designing and building bespoke Granny Annexes. They pride themselves on delivering high-quality, stylish, and functional annexes tailored to their clients’ needs.

They are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join their UK-wide projects, ensuring exceptional results and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will oversee projects from initial survey to completion, managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. As the main contact for clients, subcontractors, and in-house teams, you'll handle tasks like site clearance, service coordination, and regulatory compliance.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Proven experience in project management within the construction or related industry
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at various stages
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and clients
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, costs, and invoices effectively
  • Experience using project management tools like (url removed), Excel, and CRM systems
  • A proactive problem-solver who can think on their feet and resolve issues as they arise
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality work, safely, on time, and within budget

What will your role look like?

  • Conduct pre-commencement surveys and ensure all planning and building control requirements are met before the project begins
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, ensuring their requirements are met and their expectations are managed throughout the project lifecycle
  • Oversee the coordination of surveys, foundations, and all third-party services such as building control inspections and scaffolding. You will also manage the delivery of materials and labour resources
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure projects are progressing on schedule and address any issues as they arise. Ensure all works meet the agreed specifications and high-quality standards
  • Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental processes on-site to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Take ownership of the project’s financial aspects, including managing build costs, approving invoices, and ensuring staged payments are processed correctly
  • Provide detailed progress updates using our internal systems and ensure project documentation is kept up-to-date

  • Ensure all projects are completed on time and safely
  • Achieve overall project sign-offs and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Deliver projects within forecasted margins and ensure timely financial reporting
