Project Manager - Doncaster
Lead the successful delivery of a project or portfolio of works, ensuring safety, quality, financial targets, and program deadlines are met. Foster a collaborative culture within the project team, including suppliers and customers, to ensure efficient and effective project execution. You will be managing projects for the for the National Highways and YorCivils Frameworks.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality projects and improving user experience on highways and rail infrastructure projects.
- Engage with customers at key project stages, ensuring transparency and exceeding expectations.
- Deliver projects with minimal disruption to stakeholders and the traveling public.
- Conduct customer progress meetings and address feedback proactively.
- Set a high standard for professionalism and quality across all project teams.
- Ensure project teams and supply chain partners uphold company values and maintain high standards of service and delivery.
- Address and rectify any lapses in quality or professionalism.
- Take full accountability for project delivery, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and strategic objectives.
- Establish clear roles and responsibilities within the project team.
- Foster a positive and safe working environment where leadership and accountability are encouraged at all levels.
- Support team development through training, mentorship, and performance management.
- Ensure project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors work seamlessly together.
- Drive continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and implementing best practices.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant standards, company policies, and contractual obligations.
- Develop and implement efficient project processes, reducing paperwork through digital solutions where possible.
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, health and safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Implement robust risk management and quality assurance processes.
- Oversee efficient project close-out, ensuring all documentation, handover files, and compliance requirements are met.
- Take responsibility for the financial success of projects, ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Support commercial teams in contract administration and change management.
- Drive efficiency through strategic supplier engagement and cost-effective project execution.
- A proactive and inspiring leader with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build trust and motivate teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Experience & Knowledge:
- Proven experience managing highways, motorways, or rail infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction disciplines, including groundworks, RC structures, steelwork, and buildings.
- Knowledge of NEC, ICE, or similar contract conditions.
- Proficiency in project programming, financial management, and IT tools relevant to construction.
- Qualifications & Certifications:
- Degree, HND, NVQ, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- SMSTS certification and appropriate CSCS card.
- PTS certification (if required) and other relevant industry training.
