We are seeking a qualified English Teacher to join a dynamic educational institution in Doncaster. This is a temporary, full-time position starting at Easter, ideal for someone who is passionate about teaching English literature and language across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to a range of learning abilities.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support to ensure academic development.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to develop new teaching materials and coordinate activities.
- Participate in school meetings and events, and contribute to the broader educational mission of the institution.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
