Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary: £140 - £190 per day

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated ICT Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Doncaster. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting students’ educational journey, offering guidance and expertise in various aspects of ICT, while fostering a stimulating and inclusive learning environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified ICT Teacher looking to make a lasting impact on the next generation of digital learners.

As an ICT Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire students to excel in technology and computer science.

Responsibilities of an ICT Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons that meet the diverse needs of students.
• Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters student participation.
• Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and parents.
• Collaborate with the department and wider school staff to enhance the ICT curriculum.
• Ensure classroom management that promotes a positive and respectful learning space.
• Stay up to date with current educational trends and technology developments.

Required Qualifications for an ICT Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching ICT or Computer Science at the secondary school level.
• Strong knowledge of the ICT curriculum and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
