GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Maths Supply Teacher to join our vibrant client schools community in Doncaster. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact on students’ learning journeys by joining as a Maths Supply Teacher.

As a Maths Supply Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality maths education during periods of teacher absence. Your role as a Maths Supply Teacher will be vital in ensuring students continue to progress and achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging and impactful maths lessons as a Maths Supply Teacher, ensuring students stay focused and progress in their learning journey.
• Follow the provided lesson plans, adjusting them as necessary to meet the varied needs and abilities of students.
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages active participation and involvement from all students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering valuable feedback to both students and staff to support academic growth.
• Offer individual support to students, helping them overcome any learning obstacles and build confidence in their maths skills.
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour to maintain a respectful, safe, and productive atmosphere for learning.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a seamless continuation of students' education during the absence of the regular teacher.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Maths Supply Teacher or in a similar role is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the maths curriculum and effective teaching methods.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate students.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service.
