Maths Teacher
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary: £25 - £30 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
GSL Education South Yorkshire is seeking to employ a Qualified Maths Teacher to work for a client school based in Doncaster from the upcoming September term. This is an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, conscientious, and energetic candidate with a strong track record of raising attainment.
As a Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering Key Stage 2 and 3, GCSE, and A-Level Maths lessons.
- Assisting in the creation of an interesting and innovative Maths curriculum.
- Engaging young people using all available tools, including ICT and online resources.
- Following the school's ethos and behavior management policy, supporting positive behavior throughout the school.
- Encouraging all students to learn independently.
- Participating in staff training days, meetings, and parents' evenings where applicable.
As a Maths Teacher, essential requirements include:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Be able to teach Maths to GCSE and A-Level standards.
- Provide two professional references from within the last two years that relate to your teaching.
- Be a committed educator who understands how special educational needs affect the teaching and learning methods used by young people.
- Possess an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to have one processed immediately.
