GSL Education are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join one of our client schools in Doncaster. This role offers an opportunity to inspire and engage students through physical education. As a PE Teacher, you will create an inclusive and motivating learning environment where all students can thrive. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that promote physical well-being, teamwork, and personal development.

Responsibilities of a PE Teacher:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality Physical Education lessons across various age groups.
  • Encouraging active participation in both lessons and extracurricular activities.
  • Assessing and evaluating students’ progress and performance.
  • Managing the classroom environment to ensure safety and discipline.
  • Supporting students' individual development in line with the national curriculum.
  • Contributing to whole-school initiatives, including sports days and tournaments.

Required Qualifications for a PE Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience teaching PE in a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum for Physical Education.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A passion for promoting health and fitness.
