Primary SEN Teaching Assistant - Temporary Role Available

We have an exciting opportunity at Academics Agency for a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist school for students with SEMH and Autism. These pupils face various challenges, including social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties, and we are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where they can thrive.

Your Role:

  • Offer essential guidance and assistance to students, particularly those with special educational needs, ensuring they feel secure and supported in their learning journey.
  • Help develop and implement Educational Healthcare Plans (EHCPs) and Behaviour Plans tailored to student needs.
  • Build meaningful, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement in classroom activities.
  • Promote inclusivity, independence, and self-confidence in students.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create a positive and effective learning environment.
