About the Role:
We are working closely with primary schools across Doncaster to find enthusiastic and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with diverse needs. This role is pivotal in helping children achieve their potential, providing tailored support in both one-on-one and group settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with SEN in the classroom, ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assisting the class teacher with creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and strategies set by SENCOs.
  • Encouraging children to engage fully in learning and school life.
  • Building positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (essential).
  • A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to supporting learning.
  • Ability to adapt to different classroom settings and challenges.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
