Trainee Surveyor – Utility Detection and Topographical SurveyingWorking across the UK

  • Full time, Monday to Friday

Our client is one of the UK's leading specialists in locating underground pipes and cables for utility companies, civil engineers, consulting engineers, construction companies & local authorities. They use a variety of geophysical techniques including radio frequency location and ground probing radar to locate buried services on site. Site data is incorporated into a topographical survey for presentation to clients.

The Trainee Surveyor Role:

Due to heavy workload and a desire to expand their operations, they are looking for a Trainee Surveyor to work around the UK on a variety of projects. They are an ISO accredited company who work to high professional standards and operate to a "right first time" ethic.

This position involves working away from home on a regular basis and will appeal to those who are ambitious, enjoy working on their own initiative and are seeking to join a progressive and growing company offering excellent future prospects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Utilising Total Station and GPS surveying equipment
  • Incorporating utility and topographical data into CAD deliverables for client presentation
  • Adhering to strict Health and Safety guidelines
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve project objectives

  • Prior experience or training in Health and Safety/Site Safety (preferably)
