An organisation that works on railway electrification projects requires a Hire Desk Controller on a permanent basis.
The role:
- Process orders for hire, maintaining appropriate records and paperwork / database
- Liaise with teams to ensure accurate information
- Maintain strong relationship with customers
- Resolve queries and issues promptly
- Coordinate the entire process - order, data recording, quotes, delivery
- Prepare invoices and reports
- Ensure teams receive the equipment they need at the best possible price
- Take care of cross hires and off hires
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a plant hire role
- Syrinx database experience (desirable)
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication
- Self-motivated and organised
