Hire Desk Controller

An organisation that works on railway electrification projects requires a Hire Desk Controller on a permanent basis.

The role:

• Process orders for hire, maintaining appropriate records and paperwork / database
• Liaise with teams to ensure accurate information
• Maintain strong relationship with customers
• Resolve queries and issues promptly
• Coordinate the entire process - order, data recording, quotes, delivery
• Prepare invoices and reports
• Ensure teams receive the equipment they need at the best possible price
• Take care of cross hires and off hires

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a plant hire role
• Syrinx database experience (desirable)
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication
• Self-motivated and organised
