Job Title: Fitter's Mate
Location: Based in Hayes and surrounding areas across London and the South of England
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm (6-month trial period)
Hourly Rate: £14/hour during the trial, with a potential increase for the right candidate
Start Date: 6th January
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Fitter's Mate to join our team. You will work closely with a small team of installation engineers, supporting the installation of bespoke air handling units and acoustic products. The role involves travel, with overnight stays typically Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist installation engineers on-site, primarily fitting air handling units and acoustic products.
- Undertake general labouring duties as required.
- Follow instructions from the lead site engineer while working proactively.
- Regular travel to accommodation on Sunday evenings and overtime as needed.
- Work in the factory during periods with limited site work.
What We're Looking For:
- Essential:
- A clean UK driving licence.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Health and safety awareness.
- Preferable:
- Valid CSCS card and IPAF certification.
- Previous experience in labouring on-site.
