We are recruiting for a general Maintenance and Handyperson for a luxury Estate that runs a number of businesses near Dorchester, Dorset.
These include, holiday accommodation, residential lettings, game shooting, fly fishing and self storage each which require high standards of maintenance. They are seeking a professional and reliable Estate Handyperson to join their team and help maintain the estate to the highest standards.
**Accommodation available**
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 8am to 5.30pmÂ
Salary: £30,000 per annum depending on experience.Â
Job Description:
The Estate Handyperson will be responsible for the general upkeep and supporting these businesses. This role requires a proactive individual with a wide range of skills, including basic plumbing, decorating, and general repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Carry out minor plumbing and decorations.
- Assist with landscaping and grounds keeping as needed..
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- General driving duties
- Some waitering for events
Requirements:
- Experience of basic plumbing, and decorations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Valid driver's license.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings as required.
