About Us:
We are working with a number of schools within Redbridge that are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants. The schools are looking for a proactive and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to support SEN pupil, with specific needs. The successful individual will need experience in supporting pupils with SEND and have a calm persona.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher where required.
- Support SEN pupils on a 1:1 basis
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience: Previous experience working in a Primary School
- Knowledge: Understanding of SEN
