Manufacturing Planning Manager, West Dorset

As Manufacturing Planning Manager you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth planning and prioritisation of production operations. Reporting directly into the Operations Director you will work closely across the business to ensure that production is planned to ensure on time delivery and cost efficiently.

As Manufacturing Planning Manager you will:
• Plan and manage the production plan from the point of order through to delivery
• Determine the requirements of manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to maintain production demand
• Ensure efficiency and maximum performance to avoid delays
• Monitor the progress of production to ensure on time delivery in line with budget and quality

The ideal Manufacturing Planning Manager will:
• Have proven experience in a similar production planning role
• Be experienced in using MRP systems
• Have strong organisational, problem solving and communication skills
• Be confident with maths and statistics
