Foundations Executive Search is delighted to be supporting a long-standing client in the smart Technology Sectors, and this is an opportune moment for an experienced compliance professional to take ownership of ISO certification and governance across all three of their strategic UK sites , supporting operational teams in embedding best practice compliance pragmatically and sustainably . You’ll be joining a growing, values-led technology business, trusted by public sector partners and relied on by millions of passengers across the UK.

The Opportunity

As Compliance Manager , you’ll play a vital leadership role in the ongoing certification, monitoring and continuous improvement of the company’s compliance frameworks, including ISO 9001, 20000, 22301 and 27001 . Working across multiple business locations, you’ll take a hands-on approach to managing audits and engaging cross-functional teams to embed compliance practices in a way that’s practical, effective and aligned to day-to-day operations .

This role offers significant visibility, autonomy, and impact—perfect for a confident and collaborative compliance professional ready to make their mark in a high-performing environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and certification processes across all ISO standards , ensuring compliance is embedded across all three UK sites

  • Support functional teams across the business to integrate ISO compliance in a pragmatic and sustainable manner

  • Design and implement an Integrated Management System (IMS) across the business

  • Manage internal and external audits, risk assessments, and pre-audit readiness checks
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in line with ISO and regulatory expectations
  • Deliver internal awareness campaigns and staff training across sites to build engagement and understanding of compliance requirements
  • Keep current with regulatory developments, ensuring all frameworks are up to date
  • Support GDPR activities in collaboration with the Data Protection Officer
About You We’re looking for a confident, practical compliance lead with a solid grounding in ISO certification and a collaborative approach. You’ll have the experience and authority to lead audit processes and the interpersonal skills to bring teams on the journey with you. Essential Experience & Attributes
  • Proven experience leading the ISO certification process across multi-site operations

  • Deep knowledge of ISO 9001, 27001, 20000, and 22301

  • Strong understanding of integrated management systems
  • Effective communicator and trainer with strong influencing skills
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills, with a detail-driven and hands-on mindset
  • Comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally
Desirable
  • ISO Lead Auditor certification
  • Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Quality, Compliance, Risk, Information Security)
