Graduate / Trainee Quantity Surveyor

£25,000 - £35,000 + Training + Progression + Hybrid + Mon - Fri + Benefits

DT2 (Commutable from Dorchester, Yeovil, Poole, Weymouth, Bridport)

Do you have a HND / HNC or a Quantity Surveyor degree? Are you looking to kickstart your career in construction with an established developer who are known for their great work environment, routes to progress your career, excellent training scheme and the ability to flexibly from home in the future?

On offer is the opportunity to join a well-established commercial development team who operate across the entire South-West working on both large and small development schemes. Their clients include land owners, suppliers and sub-contractors who have a varied and lucrative portfolio of high-end properties.

This varied role will see you responsible for and trained to work on multiple projects at once, producing bills of quantities, tender specifications, cost planning, financial control and reporting as well as feasibility projects. You will be based out of the office, but you will be required to travel to sites across the UK.

This role would suit a motivated Graduate or someone looking to get into the construction sector with a forward-thinking company who can offer you a long career with excellent progression, training and the opportunity to work flexibly.

The Role:

  • Developing budget costs and ensuring projects remained within cost
  • Carrying out tender comparisons
  • Preparing monthly forecasts and reports
  • Measuring quantities, checking against sub-contractor rates
  • Monday - Friday (40 hr week)

The Person:

  • HNC / HND or Degree Qualified
  • Looking for a career in Quantity Surveying or Construction
  • Commutable to DT2 Postcode
