About the Role:As a Finance Assistant, you will provide high-quality technical and financial support services, ensuring consistent, accurate, and timely financial information is available for managers. You will assist with budget preparation, forecasting, closing of accounts, and managing financial transactions and records.

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and closing accounts.
  • Perform technical financial assignments accurately and on time.
  • Process payments and manage supplier data.
  • Handle income, raise invoices, and manage debt.
  • Manage reconciliation processes and ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Provide financial information and support to directorate staff.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Experience with ICT and financial systems.
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and strict deadlines.
  • Effective communication and network building within the organisation.
  • Flexibility to attend meetings locally and regionally as required.
  • Understanding of financial management and reporting.
