Individualised Learning: Work closely with students who require additional help, offering one-on-one support and adapting teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs. Behaviour Management: Help maintain a positive classroom environment, managing behaviour in line with school policies and fostering a safe and respectful atmosphere for all students. Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation and organisation of classroom resources, ensuring that lessons run smoothly and efficiently. Student Welfare: Support the social and emotional well-being of students, acting as a mentor and providing guidance as needed Contract DetailsLocation Christchurch, Dorset Position Secondary Teaching Assistant Contract or position start date ASAP Contract or position end date (if applicable) Ongoing Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) Temp to Perm Full time/part time Full time Minimum rate of pay GBP13.09 per hour Hours Monday Friday 08:30am 15:30pm (No weekends) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSLevel 2 or 3 Qualification Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent. Previous experience working in a UK school. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided).
