About You:

  • Proven leadership skills with a strong ability to train and guide a team.
  • Empathetic and compassionate, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by people with learning disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effective interaction with diverse groups.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, adept at managing care plans and schedules.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, adaptable to changing situations, and capable of working various shifts.
  • Committed to professional development, cultural sensitivity, and ethical integrity.
  • Willing to work towards or possessing a QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Drivers are highly desirable due to the active lifestyles of the people we support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality care and providing necessary training and support.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with people we support, their families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Directly support people, assisting with daily activities, personal care, and social integration.
  • Monitor and adapt care plans to meet changing needs, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for people we support, staff, and families, coordinating with external agencies and healthcare providers.
