Job Title: Social Worker - Levels 1, 2 & 3Location: South-West England, East DorsetAbout the Role:We're looking for Social Workers across different experience levels to join our team, from entry-level (ASYE) to experienced Level 3 professionals. This role is pivotal in delivering statutory children’s services within Dorset, focusing on both prevention and safeguarding under the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation. If you’re passionate about making a positive impact on children’s lives, we want to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:Assess and Plan: Conduct needs assessments for children and families, working with multi-disciplinary teams to create effective, timely plans.Safeguard Children: Promote and protect the welfare of children through targeted interventions.Support and Advise: Provide guidance to families to foster self-reliance and stability.Legal and Administrative Duties: Prepare reports, attend court as needed, and maintain accurate records.Professional Development: Participate in supervision, appraisals, and ongoing training to ensure continuous professional growth.Qualifications and Experience:Essential: Social Work Degree or equivalent, registration with Social Work England, and DBS clearance.For Level 1 (Entry): Relevant experience in Child in Need, Child Protection, or similar cases.For Level 2 & 3: Significant experience with complex cases, permanency planning, and court proceedings.
