Our client is looking for an experienced Customer Service Supply Chain Advisor to join their team and provide exceptional service to both UK and international customers.

This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week needed in the Bournemouth office with free parking and offers an excellent benefits package and progression opportunities.

In this fast-paced role, you will play a key role in fostering positive relationships with customers, ensuring their orders are processed smoothly and resolving any issues promptly. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong commitment to delivering a seamless customer experience.

Proficiency in SAP and an ability to quickly learn new systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter customer orders into the system, ensuring electronic orders are processed accurately and without errors
  • Coordinate with warehouses to ensure timely and correct processing and shipping of orders, while resolving any delivery issues or missing paperwork promptly
  • Manage consignment stock orders, ensuring they are processed on time and escalating any issues as needed
  • Proactively assign stock to customers when supplies are limited and keep customers informed of any order or product-related issues
  • Collaborate with the finance team to resolve billing and product-related issues.
  • Ensure customer orders are processed on time by confirming product dates before shipment
  • Assist with month-end tasks by closing out inventory transactions and ensuring all orders are correctly processed
  • Work with the planning team to set up new products and orders in the system and track any delivery service provider issues in the warehouses

Experience Required:

  • In-depth knowledge and experience supply chain, warehouse operations and transportation, ideally in the in FMCG sector
  • Proven track record of managing the supply of imported products (both locally and internationally sourced) while overseeing product life cycles
  • Experience working with major UK retailers and clients, consistently meeting KPIs related to customer service, supply chain and business objectives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships quickly
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP and the ability to quickly learn new systems
