The RoleAs Sous Chef, youll take a leading role in crafting modern British cuisine, working with the finest ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers. The menus evolve regularly, giving you the freedom to bring your creativity to life across lunch, dinner, and special events.
Youll work closely with the Head Chef to manage and inspire a team of 8 chefs, overseeing:
- Menu costing and GP management.
- Stock control and supplier relationships.
- Training, developing, and retaining a talented team.
This is a 7-day operation with a mix of shifts, and accommodation is available if required.
What Were Looking ForWere seeking a driven and talented Sous Chef (or a Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step) with:
- Proven experience in reputable kitchens, ideally at 1-2 AA Rosette level.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to train and inspire a team.
- Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail to ensure excellence in every dish.
- Proficiency in Food Safety, Health & Safety, and HACCP.
- Financial awareness, including experience with ordering and rota management.
Flexibility to work weekends is essential, as is a passion for maintaining the highest standards.
