7.30am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm finsih on Friday
About the Assembly Supervisor Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assembly Supervisor to join a fast-paced and hands-on manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will take the lead in supervising a team of assembly fitters, driving performance, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Supervisor
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of assembly teams.
- Ensure production output meets schedules and targets in line with the master plan.
- Set daily/weekly goals and monitor progress, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with Production Control and other Supervisors to ensure efficient resource sharing.
Essential Skills & Attributes of the Assembly Fitter
- Strong team leadership and motivational skills.
- Hands-on knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Positive attitude and proactive problem-solving mindset.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Proven track record of coaching and developing people.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
