Vacancy: HEAD OF PROPERTY MANAGEMENT – Residential Estate Agency

Salary: £40k
Position: Permanent – Full Time
An experienced, organised, and highly competent Head of Property Management is needed to work with a smart Estate & Lettings Agency with offices in the Dorking area.
Our client is a forward-thinking property company dedicated to providing exceptional services in the Surrey area. The team prides itself on delivering outstanding service to our clients, and we are currently seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join and run their Property Management division
In this role, you will lead our Property Management team, managing a diverse portfolio of residential units and overseeing a team of two Coordinators. Your leadership will be essential in driving exceptional service to landlords, tenants, and contractors.
We are looking for candidates with proven experience in property management and maintenance, within in the residential lettings market. Previous management experience demonstrating your ability to motivate and drive a team is essential. Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to build rapport quickly, while excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are vital. A valid driving license and car ownership are required for this position.
The Company: Our client is a market leading Independent Sales and Lettings agency, with an excellent reputation and several local offices in and around the Surrey area.
Skills required for this Head of Property Management role will include:
- Experienced in Property Management / Maintenance
- Experience of managing and mentoring a team
- Dealing with all property maintenance issues and reporting them
- Understanding of current lettings legislation
- ARLA qualified essential
- Highly organised and able to prioritise work load
- Problem solve effectively
- High level of customer service skills
- Good telephone manner and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment
- Knowledge of the local area helpful
