Our client has established itself as a well-regarded refurbishment contractor providing building maintenance services within the public sector, for 80 years, predominantly to local authority housing associations.
You will be working in and around Brighton & Hove, Horsham, Crawley, Billingshurt (and surrounding areas) Littlehampton, Aldershot, Farnborough, and KT postcodes (such as Chertsey, Molesey, Esher.)
You will play a crucial role in facilitating effective communication with residents of diverse backgrounds during construction and maintenance projects.
Main Duties:
- Prepare correspondence addressing issues such as access, delays, changes/additions to works, and resolving resident concerns.
- Handle residents' complaints and issues through email, phone, or home visits.
- Collect Key Performance Indicators upon work completion and log the results.
- Arrange appointments for workers and subcontractors where necessary.
- Build strong relationships with residents to ensure satisfaction and smooth project execution.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss planned construction activities, ensuring targets and client specifications are met.
Essential Skills/Knowledge:
- Full UK Driving License.
- Strong face-to-face customer service experience.
- Confident and calm communicator within a face-to-face environment.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Flexible to accommodate the needs of the residents.
- Able to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Basic IT knowledge.
Package:
- Salary: £25,000 to £31,000 per annum.

Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 1 hour for lunch
- 40 hours per week
Additional Information:
- A DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the company's expense.
- You must be eligible to work in the UK.
- Six-month probationary period.
- As part of the interview process, you will be required to complete an aptitude test.
