The Role

As the Quality Manager, you will be a key member of the site leadership team, responsible for ensuring all laboratory services meet the highest quality standards. You will oversee quality assurance activities, regulatory compliance, and the continuous improvement of quality management systems.

This role requires an individual with a strong background in laboratory quality management, ideally with experience in ISO 17025 or GMP. If you have ISO 13485 experience and a willingness to upskill, our client will consider this.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage quality assurance functions, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and enhance quality management systems, policies, and procedures
  • Support internal and external audits, working closely with regulatory agencies and clients
  • Train and develop staff on quality processes and standards
  • Identify and implement quality improvements to enhance overall performance
  • Manage investigations, deviations, and non-conformances
  • Work with laboratory teams to ensure testing services meet industry standards and client expectations

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a laboratory quality management role
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 17025 or GMP (ISO 13485 experience considered with a desire to upskill)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and internationally
